The Eighth Air Force Historical Society, founded in 1975 by an original 8th Air Force pilot, Lt. Col. John Woolnough, serves as a central organization for its individual State Chapters and Wings.

British Aircraft Preservation Council

The British Aviation Preservation Council links national, local authority, independent and service museums with private collections, voluntary groups and other organisations in the advancement of aviation preservation. ARGL are proud to be members of the BAPC, linking our role in the researching and recording of British airfield histories with the aircraft that flew from them. 


Subterranea Britannica

Subterranea Britannica is a UK-based society for all those interested in man-made and man-used underground structures and space. A particular interest is in British military defensive structures, including many airfield and related sites.

The People’s Mosquito Club.

Membership of the Club provides valuable support to the restoration of our DH.98 Mosquito, RL249, to British skies. The People’s Mosquito is a publicly funded charity which relies on contributions, donations and sponsorship in order to achieve its aims. This is very much your project – we can’t do it without you.
