I keep finding references to this drawing number, with regards to a number of structures including floodlight/tender sheds and NFE stores.

Does anyone have access to this drawing, please, to let me know what it does actually cover (is it a generic building type that could then be modified/sized as necessary, or was it just a single drawing with a number of building designs on it?) and, extremely cheekily, is it possible to get a scan of it?

Cheers,

Ian P.

Pauls B & F might know if the drawing is extant.

The NFE store and Floodlight Tractor & Trailer Shed generally appear to be the same footprint but with the doors arranged differently - NFE store arranged as three bays with doors on each bay, T&T shed with the main door in a gable end. No doubt other example photos on here but definitely images of the Llanbedr examples.

Was the gas chamber version on the same footprint?

The Llanbedr, NFE store hasnt changed much from the above plans, the Trailer shed is complete except for a false ceiling,

Thanks Paul, that's very much appreciated.

Looks like my estimate of the walls on the floodlight tender shed were quite a way out. I have some more modelling to do.

I'll put these here, rather than start a new thread, but can anyone elucidate on whether a similar drawing exists "12563/40" and/or "12564/40"? The two numbers are for the Guardroom(!?) and a Fire tender shed (12563) and the fire tender shed, NFE store and floodlight shed (12564) at Peterhead in Scotland.

I don't believe they are site specific drawings, because I have found reference to 12563/40 in Heritage Standards documents ( heritage-standards.org.uk/ ) specifically referencing a fire tender building.

Anyone? :)

Cheers,

Ian P.
