Not an expert, but the photos that I've seen of EYMS Tigers have all had their doors aft of the rear axle.

On looking at the photo what appears to be a registration number is visible on the rear window. It was a common practice during the 30's to paint the registration onto the window glass at the back of buses and coaches.
