Canmore has a record for a Target Barge with pictures.

It looks like a fleet target that would have had multiple masts supporting a latticework target. The date seems uncertain in the Canmore text but it could be quite old as they were used , as far as I know pre-WW1. I don't know what size guns were aimed at them but assume they would have been the larger ones.

I have no record of these targets being used by aircraft but their smaller cousin, the Hong Kong target was used as a high speed towed target by aircraft, mainly post war.
