There is a three part TV series coming up on the history of aerial photography, made by HES and BBC Scotland. It is said be on in March but nothing listed yet so looks as if going to be a bit later in the Spring. Probably on BBC1 Scotland but that can seen outside Scotland on Freesat and iPlayer.

I suspect there will not be a lot on the wartime aerial images.

Hopefully we can get airing dates when they are known.

The recent series on BBC Alba about activities at some of the lesser known Scottish Airfields was excellent. Although it was broadcast on a Gaelic language channel, much of the dialogue was in English and sub-titles covered the Gaelic parts.

This series started to night, worth watching on iPlayer if outside Scotland.

They started with some WWI practice and anti-invasion trenches.

The WWII section was mainly around Wick and Sarclet Decoy site/
