About 10 days ago I bought 2 cans of Carlsberg Export from a local shop. Later that evening I opened one of them, it was quite cloudy, but had plenty of small bubbles. Taking a sniff and a sip I thought it was worth the risk, so I drank it, the taste was also ok ! Opening the second can it was more cloudy than the first one, but had no bubbles. That went down the sink much to my dis-pleasure.
So I contacted Carlsberg telling them of the problem, they replied very quickly, then sent me a pre-paid envelope (Hardly big enough) in which to return the two empty cans. This was done last Tuesday, today I received these two vouchers to compensate.
Well the two cans cost me £2.00 ( Usually £2.50p, Reduced price for regular customers) so after refunding my initial outlay I also received the very generous compensation of a further two cans voucher. But, I suppose it's better than nothing at all ? Well almost !

Probably the Worst lager in the....Village ! Definitely NOT the best in the world. Becks and San Miguel are my two favorite's. But I will cash-in my two vouchers tomorrow. Shame it don't include ; Draught Guinness.

Skol was the worst lager ever. I was forced to drink it in 1976 when all the beers ran out. A horrible time!

They were dated; End of July 2018. Maybe they were stored in direct sunlight for a long period ? Though where in this country I don't know !

Paul ~ reading your thread reminded me of a lecture I attended over 20 years ago by Ball Corp of Colorado who claimed to be the worlds largest manufacturer of aluminium drinks cans and their super secrete process for lining the cans before being filled with alcohol or soda.

If the contents are cloudy then the lining had broken down and should not be consumed.

It sounds as if you experienced one in the process of breaking down and the other have broken down completely.

Believe its unlikely to be sun light more likely damage in transit.

Over the years there have been many fake news scare stories of people passing away through drinking from a tin that had been subject to mice or rat urine.

Believe the lining chemical is still protected by patents.
