There a few articles in the media about cropmarks showing archaeological sites because of the hot, dry weather.

I think this from RCAHMW prompted that article and includes links to COFLEIN

It got me looking around and found this site has some interesting items. AARG

It includes this free download
Flights into the Past. Aerial photography, photo interpretation and mapping for archaeology

It has some earlier aerial photographs with a couple of the aircraft. I like the one of a biplane landed on a Roman road to show what can be seen from the air is not really visible on the ground.
