The German language uses these a lot but not so common in the English language. There are plenty of two word examples but not so many three word ones. Two I have used a lot recently are:

Hereinafter
Nonetheless

There must be more but any with more than three words. N.B. I excluded single words that have been split by inserting an expletive or ones with a hyphen.

Does German import words from other languages like English does, so often no need to make a multi word description into a word when a new word can be devised.

Yes German (and French) does import words from English. Off the top of my head though the only one I know of is Provost Marshal.

Does the German Language include hyphens ? There are some pedants who might insist that forever should be written as for-ever.It is only in the written language that back stabbing is back-stabbing when spoken one does not say back hyphen stabbing .
