Although the museum site is still under development, a memorial has been dedicated/unveiled here during 2016

I think the inspiration for this may have originated in the equally impressive (new) 158 Sqn memorial at Lissett. The positioning of the "figures" overlooking the Lincolnshire Cliff / Trent Valley is a very good move and IMHO looks better the further away from them you are . . .

For a little known Bomber Command airfield that remained in use with grass runways throughout its life - this memorial is just one part of what will be an impressive addition to the aviation heritage of Lincolnshire

Being overshadowed by a more famous neighbour doesn't help. I wonder how the number of operations from Ingham compares to the same period for Scampton?
