Hi all
ive just scanned some piccs i took a few years ago whilst on hols in Norfolk,these in ST Andrews church hope they are not already posted somewhere ,here goes

In a corner of the churchyard right by the airfield boundary can be found this rather sad gravestone...

The 23 & 515 Squadron scoreboards in St Andrews Church have been posted before so I won't repeat them....except for this one. I really do believe that the far-sighted lady who rescued these historic items from oblivion deserves her own 'Mention in Dispatches'.

I realise that people may not believe this but the last operator at the Hetherset Petroleum Depot lived in Little Snoring, his surname name was Gotobed.
Retired former chartered engineer with OPA, British Gas and Foxboro Yoxall. Author of 'Fuelling the Wars - PLUTO and the Secret Pipeline Network 1936 to 2015', of various papers.
