Looking at the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum website, it looks like they have plans to build a WW2 watch office at the museum:

Interesting to see how this pans out, hopefully it will not look like the Dayton example but more like the Virginia example.

I may have incorrectly assumed that they were going to rebuild the one from RAF Glatton ~ so will follow with interest.

Understood the 457th BGA are visiting the 390th MM at Pima Tucson AZ this coming October.

Hope to have flights in a B17 according to the press.

Visited Reading a few weeks ago. As it was airshow weekend the Museum aircraft had been moved out of the hangars either to be part of the show or to the other side of the airport beside the Reading Jet Center buildings. The Terminal building has a couple of display cases housing memorabilia and a series of windows with etchings of historic aircraft. Nice to see the working beacon on top of the old hangar.
