My sincere thanks to Kev Clark of the 8AFHS for depositing this boxload of microfilm reels with us today.
These are WWII USAAF records from AFHRA and the NASM, primarily Aircraft Record Cards, MACRs, gun serial numbers, etc., but also seem to include information on certain 15AF bombing missions too.

I'm also indebted to my colleagues in the Summer of 44 living history group for the loan of our first mannequin.
This now allows us to properly display the 1980s RF-4C "back-seater" flight gear on permanent loan from Mike Sweeney (WSO, 1st Tac Recce Sqn, Alconbury 1982-86).
This rig is a Nomex CWU-27/P flight suit, over which is a CSU-13B/P G-suit and CWU-45/P winter flight jacket.
Black leather FWU-8/P boots and a pair of GS/FRP-2 gloves complete the set.

I am pleasantly surprised to see that the mannequin is masculine in appearance. Far to many exhibits use female mannequins to display male attire and compensation comprises applying a moustache often felt pen or paint.
Out of the roomful of mannequins this was the only male one left, hence it's not quite the pose I was aiming for.
Waiting to hear back from Mr Sweeney.
