Treligga? Or was it merely a range with grass landing strips? As far as the FAA was concerned it was a satellite of St Merryn.
According to the FAA charts is seemed to be classed as an airfield rather than a landing ground to be used in an emergency. Apart from unexpected guests you don't hear anything about intentional movements at Treligga. Shame there isn't a diary for Treligga as that might prove interesting. Was there a diary for St Merryn?

Wing - kind of a link but Cublington Spinney has a memorial to the proposed London airport that was planned for Wing airfield, it never happened www.ukairfields.org.uk/cublington.html
Similarly this is primarily for 75 Sqn, Feltwell gets a mention because that is where they were based ....
As does the one at Mepal for 75 Sqn but they both refer to the airfield. In fact most 'airfield memorials' are to the units that were based at them but as the objective of the original post was to look at airfields that do not have a memorial.
Not that I want to pick holes, I'll just not bother commenting in the future.
As Rich pointed out Balderton does have it's memorial at the care home. It also now has a plaque set in a piece of original Balderton runway at Newark Air Museum. I know it's not on the actual airfield site but it's fairly nearby - www.airfieldresearchgroup.org.uk/forum/n...ue-newark-air-museum
Whilst attending a recent event at the IBCC, I discovered that a second memorial is planned for Balderton. If all goes well it will be located close to the site of the former MG, just off A1 and close to the junction of the minor rd to Claypole
