This was found on the Decoy airfield, anybody an ideas what it could be? Could be unrelated?

Parachute mine or some sort of storage tank? I suspect the latter due to the copper look of it. Probably wasn't wise to cut a hole in is as it may have been full of gases.

Maybe that's what that little hole is, a tester to see what came out ? Just a thought..
