I am confused. I know this does not refer to Luftwaffe photos but I am interested in aerial photos of Randle Works in Runcorn and the FFDs in the immediate post-war period. I know there are such photographs of Randle I have seen them in other places.
I was guided by the RAF Museum to English Heritage at Swindon where there seems to have been a consolidation of such photos. I spoke to very helpful lady. If I give her a couple of weeks notice when I am in the area (in mid-May) she says she will find any relevant photos for me to inspect.
So this may be helpful.
Wasn't Angharad Wicks was it? Very very helpful lady and National Heritage so far have been the most friendly and accessible of all the archives I've visited.
It is definitely worth booking a trip in advance so they can get the photos for you, although their oblique archive is open at any time for walk-in visits.
Researcher in archaeology, I'm looking for German Aerial photos of the Romanian and Bulgarian coasts made during the Second World War. Maybe some of you know were to find such documents ?
Thanks
The collection is being digitised so may take a while to include areas you may be interested in. The US National Archives hold a lot of German WW2 APs.
Why specifically German though?

Hello dear forum members!
I am very interested to read your topic.
Do your research in the field of aerial photography is something marvelous.
I live in Russia and is also fond of studying the history of the World War of 1941-1945, but unfortunately we have a very hard to get pictures taken from aircraft of the Luftwaffe.
And for the history of my area they are very important to me.
You can tell them where I can make or buy.
For me this is very important.
Sorry for my english.
Sincerely, Alexey Popov

I believe there are thousands of German Luftwaffe aerial photos being held in both British and American archives. I think the British held ones have yet to be catalogued so may not be accessible at present. A similar situation may also exist in the American archives. I am surprised there are no Russian archives as the invading forces must have come across many as they progressed. The archives in both Britain and America would have been Top Secret until 1990 so maybe the Russian ones are still secret?
I suggest you email an enquiry to this website for the British held photographs
